Latest news in brief
Our Latest Newsletter is now on the Site August 2nd 2010
-
Following rounds 5 & 6 at Brands Hatch on the 13th June we held the lead of A Class and were classified 4th overall in the Championship.
-
The Brands Hatch event also saw the amazing Stars & Stripes Thundersaloon doing demonstration laps at Lunchtime. The car now owned by David and Jack Tetley was driven by Hugh in the 1990 Thundersaloon Championship and Hugh's first overall Thundersaloon win came in the 600 BHP Opel Manta at Brands Hatch almost exactly 20 years before Hugh's most recent win in his TVR.
-
We were looking forward to adding to our points tally at Mallory Park on the 18th July but sadly due to unforeseen circumstances we had to withdraw our entry and see our championship position fade away.
-
The races at Mallory saw a good field of TVR's joined by Doug Ellwood's 6 litre Marcos in the invitation class but otherwise returning as a strictly TVR Championship. Both rounds were won by Dean Cook.
-
The next rounds are 9 & 10 at Rockingham Speedway in Nothamptonshire at the end of August. We hope to be able to compete at Rockingham.
- The Championship is being televised by AMG TV and rounds 7 & 8 from Mallory will be shown on Motors TV.
