Latest news in brief

In December 2012 we moved offices to 24 Adam & Eve Mews, London W8 6UJ. The contact Numbers remain the same.

Following our Championship win in the first race of the final meeting of 2011 at Oulton Park, old No 3 was badly damaged in a high speed shunt in the second race. This combined with the fact that the engine required rebuilding after 4 hard seasons meant that we embarked on a massive rebuild of the car in 2012. The lack of parts now for Tuscan Engines meant we had to go to the States for pistons and rods and it took most of the season to get the car back together.

A big thank you goes to Dave Huckle and Pete Mason of M & H Racing who made a stunning job of rebuilding the car. We also thank Raweth Garage for the paintwork.

The 2012 Season saw us race at Snetterton in September. 3rd Place and 2nd Place with fastest A class lap was a good come back although we could not quite match the lap record we set in 2011 which still stands for the 200 Circuit at Snetterton. The finals were at Oulton Park as usual and this proved to be a poor meeting for us. The damaged gearbox from the 2011 accident had not been checked and we went with the close ratio box which is not suited to Oulton. The brakes discs also glazed badly and we had a clutch failure so all in all the fact that we finished both races in the top half of the field was not too bad.

For 2013 The team will miss the Angelsey races in August which will mean that we will not be competing in three of the scheduled 11 races. We will be out at the season opener at Silverstone in May and the Championship meetings are on the "This Season" section.

MLPA Surveyors will continue to sponsor the car.
